Notes
This lovely pale pink rosé bespeaks elegance, beginning with its citrus and red fruit nose with faint floral notes and carrying through to its creamy, red fruit palate and lingering finish. A very nice minerality graces the palate and the finish as well. The acidity and fruit of this wine are well balanced and there is plenty of structure and complexity, making Cuvée Madeleine a treat solo as well as paired with food. Roast chicken, white fish, Niçoise salad, charcuterie, and ceviche come to mind for companions, underscoring the versatility of this rosé. It compares very favorably with other popular Provence rosés at the same or higher price points. Blend is Grenache 50 %, Syrah 25 %, Cinsault 25 %.
